Tliltocatl albopilosus Nicaragua (formerly Brachypelma albopilosus 'Nicaragua') is a Brachypelma variety found only in Nicaragua, making it a relatively rare variety on the market and a recent arrival, although it is as easy to manage as others of its genus.

SIZE: L – approximately 7/9 cm

SEX: Female

ORIGIN: Endemic to Nicaragua

ENVIRONMENTAL VALUES: Temperature 25°-27°C during the day, 20°-22°C at night, high humidity 80%

DIET: Insects of appropriate size (crickets, cockroaches, worms, locusts), medium-sized isopods

RECOMMENDED SETUP: Terrarium or fauna box 30x30x25 cm, substrate 7/8 cm peat and coconut fiber, along with tropical plants, a bowl with constant water, and a natural or artificial shelter

HABITS: Ground-dwelling/opportunistic arachnid

AGGRESSIVENESS: 4 – medium, very voracious and docile, but can exhibit a variable nervous nature and, if stressed, can emit stinging hairs

GROWTH RATE: Rapid compared to other Brachypelma, given the Voracious, being among the easiest arachnids to feed and maintain in terrariums.
