Brachypelma Boehmei also known by the common name of Mexican Fireleg or Mexican Rustleg Tarantula
SIZE: S – 1,5/2 cm.

FOUND IN: Mexico and Belize
ENVIRONMENTAL VALUES: temperature between 25-26 degrees Celsius during the day and 20-22 degrees Celsius at night, humidity must be around 60 to 65%
DIET: Feeder insects suitable for the current size of the tarantula (crickets, cockroaches, larvae)
SETUP: terrarium or faunabox 30x30x25, 5cm peat substrate or coconut fiber, bowl with water always available, along with a natural or artificial shelter
HABITS: terrestrial arachnid, being opportunistic, it is not uncommon for it to dig tunnels and burrows in nature, occasionally exhibiting this behavior even in captivity
BEHAVIOR:voracious and generally calm, if stressed it will not hesitate to throw out stinging hairs, consequently it is not recommended to handle it
GROWTH RATE: Slow, despite the considerable appetite
LIFESPAN: Females can live up to 25 years in captivity
