DIMENSIONS: Size S - 2,5 cm about body, legspan excluded; gets to a size around 20/25 cm
ORIGINE: India
AMBIENTAMENT VALUES: Temperature 25-28 degrees Celsius during the day 22-23 degrees Celsius, humidity 65-75%, with daily spraying, keeping the peat moist but not too much
ALIMENTATION: Small-sized insects (grills, cockroaches, worms) small size isopods and should be regularly fed on a varied diet
TIP SET UP: Terrarium or faunabox 30x30x40, substrate of about 5/6 cm with peat and coconut fiber or vermiculitis, hydrogel for hydration of the migal and a shelter in which to burrow, natural or artificial. A wall with cork in bark helps the setting of this tarantula and various tropical plants are used to favor everything, all developed in height.
The sprays also promote the hydration of the migale and at the same time maintain constant humidity and must be carried out for this variety 1 time a week, while the substrate should be slightly sprayed once a month, thus leaving the terrarium inside a little dry.
ABITUDINI: arboreal arachnids, very fast in movement and suitable only for experienced terrariophiles.
AGGRESSIVITA: 8 – high, has a rather painful bite and with relative venom, much stronger the latter than that possessed by other tarantulas
GROWTH RAPIDIITY: very high as it's quite voracious
STATUS CITES: Exhibit B
CLINICAL/TOXICOLOGICAL INFO: WCH UNIVERSITY ADELAIDE; AUSTRALIA
