Birupes simoroxigorum (Bornean Neon Blue Leg Tarantula) is a recently discovered tarantula, with a beautiful color, native to Borneo; its rarity and recent discovery make it one of the most sought after tarantulas, also for its peaceful nature.
DIMENSIONS: S-2 cm body (legs and tail included); it reaches dimensions not exceeding 14/15 cm total when adult
ORIGIN: Borneo, Malaysia
AMBIENT VALUES: temperature 26 ° -28 ° C daytime, 22-23 ° C nighttime humidity 75-85% and optimal ventilation
FEEDING: small-sized insects, meal insects (crickets, cockroaches, worms, locusts) of adequate size are fine. Medium sized isopods, quite voracious. In particular, crickets and locusts are indicated as highly protein, albeit provided in moderation, as this scorpion tends to be supercharged in terrariums.
RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT: small terrarium or faunabox, 40x40x40 / 25 cm for 1 specimen; Substrate of about 10 cm with a specific mix for arachnids, a natural den in coconut or cork, real plants for the maintenance of internal humidity and a bowl for water that allows you to rehydrate and drink.
