The Grammostola pulchra is one of the most well-known and appreciated tarantulas for its docile temperament, easy to care for it has a beautiful black coloration with blue shades; it feeds on feeder insects and can reach 15/17 cm

SIZE: S about 1,5/2 cm

FOUND IN: South Brazil, Uruguay,

ENVIRONMENTAL VALUES: temperature between 25-26 degrees Celsius during the day and 22-23 degrees Celsius at night, humidity around 55-65%

DIET: adequate size insects (crickets, cockroaches, worms, locusts)

SETUP: A 30x30x30 cm terrarium or fauna box, with a substrate composed of peat or coconut fiber, along with various barks and decorations to provide the necessary shelter. A bowl of fresh water must always be available

HABITS: Terrestrial Tarantula

BEHAVIOR: Pretty docile species with slow movements despite being a fairly voracious variety, is very recommended for beginners 

GROWTH RATE: Slow

LIFESPAN: About 10 to 20 years, some specimens can reach up to 30 years in captivity
