DIET: Medium sized insects (crickets, cockroaches, worms) Small sized isopods and must be regularly fed with a varied diet; for sling feeding occurs twice a week while adults eat about 3-5 insects a week. RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT: Terrarium or faunabox 40x25x25, substrate of about 5/7 cm with peat and coconut fiber or vermiculite, hydrogel for hydration of the migale and a refuge in which to hole up, natural or artificial. An ideal refuge consisting of bamboo canes or cork bark, together with tropical plants, allow a greater acclimatization of this tarantula, together with the correct maintenance of internal humidity values. Furthermore, to maintain high humidity it is necessary to create a background substrate possibly with the insertion of expanded clay and, at the same time, to reduce the possible proliferation of mites or molds, hence the breeding difficulties of this tarantula.
HABITS: purely terrestrial / opportunist, nocturnal, loves to hunt and take refuge inside a trunk or bark but also dig its own burrow in the substrate and go out to hunt or explore
AGGRESSIVITY: 5 - average are not particularly aggressive towards the terrarium enthusiast and have a rather docile character even if, in various cases, they have a nervous character, especially if they are disturbed in their den.
RAPID GROWTH: medium / high as it is quite voracious, with a life expectancy of about 10 years in a terrarium.
