DIMENSIONS: S-1 / 2cm legspan included; it keeps on dimensions not exceeding 15 cm when adult.
ORIGIN: Colombia and surrounding areas
AMBIENT VALUES: temperature 24 ° -28 ° C daytime, 19-23 ° C nighttime humidity 70-85%
FEEDING: small insects for spiderlings (they prefer drosophile) and, from size M, feeding insects (crickets, cockroaches, worms, locusts) of adequate size are good. Medium sized isopods, quite voracious. In particular, crickets and locusts are indicated as they are highly protein.
RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT: small terrarium or faunabox, 25 / 30x30x30; for spiderlings it is perfectly fine to insert these in the classic specific containers until they reach an adequate size to be then moved to a terrarium, always of small size.
The substrate should be at least 7/10 cm high peat and / or vermiculite, together with tropical plants, a bowl with water or hydrogel always present and a natural or artificial shelter where it will burrow during the day or to consume the prey.
HABITS: purely terrestrial arachnid with fossil tendencies
AGGRESSIVITY: 4 - not very aggressive, it tends to assume the classic defensive posture if it feels threatened
