Tliltocatl albopilosus Nicaragua (formerly Brachypelma albopilosus 'Nicaragua') is a Brachypelma variety found only in Nicaragua, making it a relatively rare and relatively recent addition to the market, although it is as easy to manage as others of its genus.

SIZE: S/M–approximately 3/4 cm

SEX: Unsexed

ORIGIN: Endemic to Nicaragua

ENVIRONMENTAL VALUES: Temperature 25°-27°C during the day, 20°-22°C at night, high humidity 80%

DIET: Insects of appropriate size (crickets, cockroaches, worms, locusts), medium-sized isopods

RECOMMENDED SETUP: Terrarium or fauna box 30x30x25 cm, substrate 7/8 cm peat and coconut fiber, along with tropical plants, a bowl with water or hydrogel always present, and a natural or artificial shelter

HABITS: Terrestrial/opportunistic arachnid

AGGRESSIVENESS: 4 – medium, very voracious and docile, but can exhibit a variable nervous nature and, if stressed, may emit stinging hairs

GROWTH RATE: Rapid compared to other Brachypelmas, given its voracious appetite, is among the easiest of the aracanids to feed and maintain in terrariums.
