Heterometrus laoticus is a black scorpion native to Cambodia, very easy to care for even for beginners and is one of the most docile on the market; It feeds on feeder insects, requires high humidity and average temperatures

NATIVE OF: Cambodia, Laos
ENVIRONMENTAL VALUES: temperature 27-28 degrees Celsius during the day, 23-24 degrees Celsius night humidity 75-85%
FEEDING: feeder insects crickets, cockroaches, worms, locusts medium size isopods
SETUP: terrarium or faunabox 30x30x25, substrate 7-10 cm peat and coconut fiber, along with tropical plants, bowl with water always available and a natural or artificial shelter
HABITS: Terrestrial, sometimes like to dig holes in the substrate, creating of burrows for thermoregulation
BEHAVIOR: average, a species suitable for newbies, often used for "handling" activities as very docile even if not advisable without the necessary precautions
