Heterometrus laoticus also known as the "Black Forest Scorpion" is an Arachnid native to Cambodia, very easy to care for even for beginners and is one of the most docile on the market; It feeds on feeder insects and requires high humidity and average temperatures

NATIVE OF : Cambodia, Laos
ENVIROMENTAL VALUES: temperature 27-28 degrees Celsius during the day, 23-24 degrees Celsius night humidity 75-85%
DIET: insects of adequate size to the size of the scorpion (crickets, cockroaches, worms, locusts)
SETUP: terrarium or faunabox 30x30x25, substrate 7-10 cm peat and coconut fiber, along with tropical plants, bowl with water always available and a natural or artificial shelter
HABITS: Terrestrial Scorpion, occasionally can dig holes in the substrate creating burrows for thermoregulation
