Heterometrus cyaneus also known by the common name of Blue Forest Scorpion, is a tropical scorpion from the interior areas of Cambodia and Laos, easy to care for; it feeds on feeder insects.

ENVIRONMENTAL VALUES: temperature 27-28 degrees Celsius during the day, 23-24 degrees Celsius night humidity 75-85%
DIET: adequately sized insects (ckrickets, roaches, worms, locusts)
SETUP: terrarium or faunabox 30x30x25, substrate 7-10 cm peat and coconut fiber, along with tropical plants, bowl with water always available and a natural or artificial shelter
HABITS: Terrestrial Scorpion, sometimes, it loves to dig holes in the substrate for the creation of burrows and thermoregulating
