Lamponius guerini is an easy-to-manage stick insect from the island of Guadeloupe, to be kept together in small groups. They feed on privet and oak and are especially active at night

DIMENSIONS: Size L2 / L3 - keeps on dimensions not exceeding 7-9 cm as adults varying between male and female

ORIGIN: Guadeloupe Island

ENVIROMENTAL VALUES: temperature 28 ° -30 ° C daytime, 18-20 ° C nighttime humidity 60-65%

FEEDING: mainly bramble leaves but, most of the time, they accept oak, privet and hazel leaves, preferring those particularly tender and with soft branches

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT: medium-sized terrarium or faunabox, 20x20x30 or 50 cm; the ventilation inside the terrarium is important.

The substrate should be low around 3/4 cm peat and / or vermiculite, along with tropical plants and branches to allow for better internal movement for these insects. Daily nebulizations are necessary to keep the internal humidity constant and promote hydration for these insects, especially in the morning.

HABITS: arboreal like all stick insects, active both day and night

AGGRESSIVITY: 0 - None, even 2-3 couples can live together in the same terrarium

RAPID GROWTH: average, with a life expectancy ranging from 8 (male) to 12 months (female), laying
