The Fittonia 'Red' is a variety of fittonia characterized by a large presence of red/black spots and shades, present on each green leaf, of small size, thus creating a beautiful aesthetic effect, especially if present in large numbers.
It is a plant that needs very high ambient humidity and a constant temperature, as it comes from tropical areas; otherwise, the leaves tend to curl and a sudden drop of the leaves is created. However, being a robust plant, it immediately regains its vigor if you intervene in time with the right environmental and root humidity
It requires a good intensity of light throughout the year, not direct but bright to avoid burning the leaves. In terrariums, a phytostimulating lamp is also fine, however inserting the plant in semi-shaded areas while, in ornamental terrariums for plants, management is easier given the constant humidity inside the containers.
We recommend a breeding temperature between 26/28 ° C ° and environmental humidity of 85/90%, with a slight root humidity
