The Tradescantia spathacea or misery herb, is famous for its great resistance to warnings, making it very resistant, with an average size reached and very bright colors in the different cultivars.
It is a plant that needs high humidity and not direct sun exposure as it loves shady areas and suffers from drafts; this cultivar comes from Madagascar
In the apartment it provides a magnificent aesthetic effect, thanks to the green leaves and with various colors, with a maintained size of about 30 cm in pot
In terrariums, it is used for subtropical environments, remaining however on average large and suitable for installations that require particularly robust plants at moderate temperatures and humidity, providing shelter to various reptiles, amphibians and exotic insects.
We recommend a management temperature between 22/25 ° C ° and humidity of 60/70% in the terrarium; in the apartment, standard temperatures of any home are fine, avoiding temperatures below 15 ° C
