Caracolus Sagemon Blanesi is a snail native to the Caribbean, characterized by a flat, rough, cone-shaped shell with colors ranging from brown to almost black, often with subtle spiral lines. The foot is gray-black with a white dorsal stripe and often an orange-red border.
SIZE: M-3/4 cm shell; reaches approximately 5 cm when fully grown.
ORIGIN: Caribbean regions.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Daytime temperature: 23°-26°C, nighttime: 21°-22°C; humidity 80-90% with periodic misting.
DIET: Feeds on foliage and substrate debris. Essential supplementation with vitamin jelly pots is required for proper growth.
RECOMMENDED SETUP: Terrarium or faunabox of 20x20x40 cm, with a substrate of at least 5 cm composed of leaves and peat. A water area is recommended to support hydration. Daily misting helps maintain consistent humidity levels.
