Lucihormetica verrucosa is a fairly robust ornamental cockroach from South America that gives birth to fully formed nymphs. Although both sexes have wings, they are not adapted for flight.

ENVIRONMENTAL VALUES: Temperature 25-27°C during the day, 20-22°C at night, humidity approximately 50-60%
DIET: Jellypot, specific food for ornamental cockroaches, and substrate debris
RECOMMENDED SETUP: Terrarium or fauna box 20x20x25 cm, 10 cm of peat and sand substrate, along with subtropical plants, a bowl of water or hydrogel always present, and a natural or artificial shelter, along with oak or beech leaves for food and to enrich the substrate. Springtails are recommended for a cleaner terrarium, thus preventing mold or mites.
