Scolopendra Polymorpha 'Rio Grande'
SIZE: They reach 18-20 cm in total length.
ORIGIN: Exclusively in the Rio Grande area, New Mexico.
ENVIRONMENTAL VALUES: Temperature 28°-30°C (82°-86°F) during the day, 20°-22°C (68°-72°F) at night, with 80% humidity.
FEEDING: Feed once or twice a week. Small insects (crickets, cockroaches, worms), small isopods, prickly pears, pinky mice.
RECOMMENDED SETUP: Terrarium or fauna box 20x30x30 cm (8x12x12 inches) or larger, mixed substrate of peat and sand, along with sphagnum moss, keeping the substrate moist but not soggy. The substrate should be about 10 cm deep.
HABITS: Nocturnal and solitary
