Vermiculite is produced in Italy and is 100% natural, devoid of any chemical substance or treatment. The product is carefully sterilized and sifted to eliminate as much dust residue as possible

Particularly used as a substrate for the incubation of eggs of reptiles and amphibians, thanks to the high water retention of the material and its ability not to release substances or, becoming, ideal substrate for the formation of mold or mites inside the terrarium or faunabox.

In addition, it is widely used as a background substrate, mixed with sand or peat, for certain types of animals such as, for example, scorpions, migals, scolopendre or, in single use, for mantises and stick insects
