Couriers and/or own vehicles TERRAQUA

TERRAQUA makes deliveries to Sicily and Calabria with its own authorized means and/or using the support of third-party carriers where necessary, to ensure maximum use of the delivery service and reduce transit times to the destination.

This service is only active for orders starting at 500.00 EUROS including VAT

For the rest of Italy (including islands), we use couriers of primary choice, for delivery in the terms and manner provided by each transport company.

Business Responsibilities

TERRAQUA is not responsible for any delays in delivery and/or transit and/or delay of in-deposit withdrawals and/or damage or loss due to courier. Also, TERRAQUA, is not responsible for any delays in the withdrawal communicated by the courier for reasons of force majeure, not attributable and/or controllable by the courier.

Order fulfillment

Purchases made by the site are fulfilled with absolute priority on the shipments of the "live" and shipped EXCLUSIVE every Monday morning;

In the case of a mixed order (live and accessories) the shipment will always be carried out on Monday, in order to ensure compliance by the carrier of the delivery times within 24/48h max (depending on the distance), unless unexpected of the carrier, not attributable to TERRAQUA

Tracking & Packaging

All shipments are tracked by tracking, provided immediately and/or within 24 hours (depending on the carrier used) after confirmation of order by email and/or Whatsapp and/or social or other channels provided during the order. Each package is marked according to applicable regulations and follows precise criteria according to IATA rules.

For meal insects and/or other live insects, special packaging is used to ensure maximum well-being during transport. Isothermal and heat pad (if provided for the period) are ALWAYS included in the packaging, without further outlay.

As for the shipment of the frozen, they are included in the cost of shipping the isothermal box and synthetic ice in reusable cells and express service

Shipping costs

The shipment costs from 10.10 euros (including VAT) up to 2 kg of actual acceptable weight (not by volume); however, there may be increases in the case of shipments to smaller islands and/or disadvantaged locations or larger volumes

The shipment of frozen food costs 22.90 euros (including VAT) up to 10 kg, including isothermal boxes and synthetic ice in reusable cells and dedicated speed service (UPS Express Saver) for delivery in 24/36H and, in some areas of Italy reached by the service, by 10:00 a.m. the day after departure.

The depot is free at any pick-up point and can be chosen as an option during checkout. We recommend the down-deposit as it allows you to reduce transit times (especially for live) and further travel of the shipment.

Delivery times

Delivery times are around 24/48H in Italy, with the possibility where there is coverage of special services, delivery in 33h or by 10.00 the day after departure.

Up to 1 delivery attempt by the courier is planned; otherwise the customer will have to pick up the package at the carrier's headquarters, which will still be communicated to the customer.

There is a 5-day stock; after this time, the shipment will return to terraQUA headquarters, resulting in the return costs of the shipment to the customer.

Please note that if the package is not picked up (if in a hold of storage), the customer will be charged the round-trip costs of the same plus 20.00 and as compensation vs. the company.

Responsibilities Vs. Customers

The goods travel at the customer's risk. No dispute will be accepted if the withdrawal is made without the signature on the withdrawal bubble with "control reserve" regarding the goods possibly damaged on arrival. This form is not valid for live shipments, for which there is no refund and/or replacement as it travels at the risk of the customer.

TERRAQUA undertakes to deliver the products ordered by the customer, using reliable carriers, to the address specified when the purchaser records the order data; no liability is attributable to TERRAQUA in the event of a delay due to the fulfillment of the order or delivery of what is ordered. All shipments are made with the corresponding charge of shipping charges to the customer, as specified in the order and/or checkout.
